Installation of an Overhead Door and Replacement of Furnaces

The Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority is inviting sealed bids for two projects: the installation of an overhead door at the Solids Building and the replacement of an electric furnace in the Solids Building along with three oil furnaces in the Maintenance Barn. The installation work involves setting up a 12x12 exterior insulated rolling door with a manual hand-chain and high efficiency reduction gear hoist. The replacement project includes the installation of a new Carrier furnace in the Solids Building and the replacement of two Trane oil fired air units and one Reznor oil fired air unit in the Maintenance Barn, along with all necessary equipment and associated parts. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond of 10% of the total bid price, ensuring that the bidder will obtain the required Payment Bond and Insurance if their bid is accepted. Bidders must also include a completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with their submission. Bids should be submitted using the forms provided by the Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority. A hardcopy of the contract documents is available for inspection at the Engineer's office or the BAJSA Office, and can be picked up for a fee of $45.00, or a PDF can be emailed at no cost. The Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority reserves the right to award the contract to the most responsible bidder and to reject any or all bids as it sees fit.
