Background Johnson County Community College (JCCC) is a comprehensive, public, two-year institution of higher education located in Overland Park, Kansas. The College aims to contract for On-Call Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering Services to support its mission and infrastructure needs. Work Details The contractor will provide On-Call MEP Engineering Services which may include: research, mapping, design, preparation of plans and specifications, contract documents, cost estimating, submittals review, presentations, and coordination of subcontractors for projects related to building mechanical systems such as HVAC, lighting, photovoltaic systems, and utilities including water, electrical, gas and sanitary sewer. Specific services include: 1) MEP Engineering services for relevant projects; 2) Related support services like research and environmental studies; 3) Administrative support to Campus Services; 4) Assistance in preparing bid specifications; 5) Preparation of AutoCAD drawings and documents; 6) Support in planning infrastructure capital improvements programs; 7) Providing expert witness testimony if needed. Period of Performance The initial term of the agreement will be one year from the date of execution by the College. The contract may be extended for up to four additional one-year terms upon annual notice.
