Background Johnson County Community College (JCCC) is a comprehensive, public, two-year institution of higher education located in Overland Park, Kansas. Established in 1969, JCCC is dedicated to transforming lives and strengthening communities through learning. The college aims to contract with several firms for On-Call Civil Engineering Services to support various projects related to building improvements and infrastructure. Work Details The selected contractors will provide On-Call Civil Engineering Services which may include: 1. Engineering services for projects related to building improvements, roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, drainage, lighting, and utilities including water, electrical, gas, and sanitary sewer. 2. Related support services such as research, mapping, surveying, geo-testing, environmental studies, archaeological studies, inspection, and construction management. 3. Administrative support to Campus Services including consultation and guidance for compliance with specifications and standards. 4. Assistance in preparing bid specifications and coordinating project meetings. 5. Preparation of AutoCAD drawings and other required documentation. 6. Assistance in planning and administration of infrastructure capital improvements programs and budgets. 7. Providing expert witness testimony if needed. Period of Performance The initial term of the agreement shall be one year from the date of execution by the College, with the possibility of extending for up to four additional one-year increments upon annual notice. Place of Performance Services will primarily be performed at Johnson County Community College's main campus located at 12345 College Blvd., Overland Park, KS 66210. Bidder Requirements Contractors must demonstrate financial stability and be authorized to do business in Kansas. They must also provide evidence of insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation documents and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
