NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

Lodging and meals provided at WVU Tech for upcoming BSA Event. This notice is being published in accordance with RFO FAR 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract, and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is prescribed by RFO FAR 12.102 (41 U.S.C 1901). However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating the ability to provide the requested services, which will be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discetion of the Government.

Background The Army National Guard is preparing to support the National Scout Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in July 2026. To facilitate this event, they require lodging and meal services for approximately 200 personnel. Work Details The contractor will provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control for lodging and meal services. Key tasks include: 1. Lodging: - Provide accommodations for approximately 200 personnel from July 13 to August 4, 2026. - Individual access keys must be provided for each guest. - A 24-hour housing staff must be available to address key/access issues. - Specific bed requirements include: - 5 beds from July 13-14 (JRSOI Team) - 30 beds from July 14-17 (ADVON) - 200 beds from July 17-31 (Main Body) - 30 beds from July 31-August 4 (REARVON) - Access to laundry facilities and Wi-Fi must be provided. - Designated parking areas adjacent to housing must be arranged. 2.
