Background The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, through its Purchasing Services Department, is seeking bids for the CWES Multi-Building Roof Replacement Project. This project aims to replace and install new steel roofing and perform related repair services across five log cabins and Walker Lodge at the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station (CWES). The goal is to ensure the integrity and longevity of these structures as part of the university's facilities management efforts. Work Details The contractor will provide roofing replacement and installation services including: 1. Installation of a new steel roofing system for each cabin and Walker Lodge. 2. Specific materials include 26-gauge Classic Green metal panels, trim components, fasteners, and related repair materials. 3. Detailed work includes securing existing roofing with 1 ½-inch screws, cleanup, and disposal of project waste. 4. The project encompasses six roofs in total: - Fir Cabin (24 ft x 24 ft) - Cedar Cabin (24 ft x 28 ft) - Spruce Cabin (24 ft x 28 ft) - Hemlock Cabin (24 ft x 24 ft) - White Pine Cabin (24 ft x 24 ft) - Walker Lodge (80 ft x 60 ft). 5. Additional services include removal of old can vents, repair of deck flashing on all roof penetrations, and installation of snow bars to protect vents. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by May 26, 2026. Place of Performance The work will be performed at the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station located at 10186 County Road MM, Amherst Junction, WI 54407. Bidder Requirements Bidders must attend a mandatory site visit on May 4th, 2026, at 10 A.M. CT to fully understand the project requirements. Bidders are required to complete a Vendor Information Form and provide a client list of three firms for similar services provided in the past three years. Additionally, bidders must certify their business classifications under Public Law 95-507 if applicable.
