Notice of Call for Bids is hereby given by the State of Wyoming, Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Abandoned Mine Land Division (AML), Cheyenne, Wyoming, for a general contract that will reclaim hazards and environmental degradation associated with historic underground copper mining The work site is located 15 miles west of Encampment, WY and designated as AML Project 68-NC, Ferris Haggarty Tunnel Rehabilitation Project Phase I. The work on this project is anticipated to begin in July 2026. Electronic Bids will be received via the Wyoming State Construction Public Purchase online bidding system, until 1:00 PM (MT) on May 21, 2026. QUALIFICATIONS OF BIDDERS: To be qualified to bid, each Bidder must submit the required Pre-Qualification Information, and to have attended the Bidder's Tour before receiving an official copy of the Appendix D, Bid Proposal form from the Engineer for the AML Project 68-NC, Ferris Haggarty Tunnel Rehabilitation. The required Pre-Qualification Information includes: Showing at least 3 similar projects involving historic tunnel rehabilitation using the steel set method completed in the past 10 years, including name and location of the project, description of project scope and project cost, and contact information for the owners and engineers of each project. The required Pre-Qualification Information is included in the prequalification packet. The Pre-Qualification package is due to the Engineer by 5:00 p.m. May 12, 2026. Do not respond to the Pre-Qualification request directly on Public Purchase. If you have questions they MUST be submitted to the Engineer (RESPEC at taran.triplett@respec.com) no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 12, 2026 . It is the Contractor's responsibility (not required) to add their company to the Plan Holders and Contractors List.
