Work Details The Contractor will provide a full range of landscaping services including mowing, trimming, fertilization, weed control, pruning, monitoring sprinkler systems, pest control, debris control, and snow removal. Specific requirements include: - Mowing grass to specified heights depending on the season and ensuring no scalping or uneven cutting occurs. - Trimming grass around trees, shrubs, and other structures on the same day as mowing. - Fertilization according to grass type with mitigation for any damage caused by over-fertilization. - Application of pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides for weed control. - Pruning of trees and shrubs during appropriate seasons to maintain health and aesthetics. - Regular monitoring and adjustment of sprinkler systems as needed. - Application of pest control chemicals under supervision of a Certified Pesticide Applicator. - Removal of all debris generated from landscaping activities on the same day they are performed. - Snow and ice removal when accumulation reaches specified thresholds with timely response requirements. Period of Performance The contract will be for one (1) year with potential renewal or extension up to a total anticipated term of five (5) years. Bidder Requirements Bidders must have a Professional Pesticide Applicator license from the Idaho State Department of Agriculture (ISDA). They must also provide three references from similar projects completed in the last five years. All required submittal forms must be completed and submitted as part of their quote.
