Background The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) is seeking contractors to improve the boat ramp access road at Lehigh-Portland State Park. Work Details The contractor shall furnish all equipment, material, and labor necessary to construct a new concrete boat ramp and asphalt access road at Lehigh-Portland State Park. The scope includes: 1. Construction of a concrete boat ramp consisting of push-in and cast-in-place sections. 2. Installation of a concrete bulkhead for a future ADA dock. 3. Construction of an asphalt access road from the campground to the boat ramp. The project location is at 1578 Montana Rd, Iola, KS 66749. Period of Performance The contract work is expected to be completed within 120 calendar days from the 'Notice to Proceed' issued by KDWP Project Manager. Bidder Requirements Bidders must have been in business for a minimum of five (5) successive years and provide evidence of successfully completed five (5) projects of comparable complexity and scope. A bid guarantee of 5% is required.
