Background The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Division of Program Management and Administration, is soliciting bids for Rural Airport Maintenance in Circle, Alaska. The goal of this contract is to ensure the effective maintenance of the Circle Rural Airport during the winter months, facilitating safe and operational airport conditions. Work Details The work includes winter maintenance of the airport facility, which encompasses State-owned equipment, building structures, and roadways located on airport property. Key responsibilities include: 1. Coordinating with the airport manager or their designee and providing weekly reports on current conditions. 2. Maintaining all State runways, taxiways, aprons, safety areas, access roads, lighting systems, segmented circles, wind cones, and State buildings at the airport. 3.
