Work Details The Contractor shall provide the following services: 1. Technical Assistance, Capacity Building, and Data Collection: Improve the capacity of teams and families to implement research-based practices supporting meaningful inclusion for students with low-incidence disabilities. Collect data on student needs and services provided throughout the contract term. 2. Interagency Collaboration: Collaborate with statewide partners to build capacity for evidence-based practices serving students with low-incidence disabilities. 3. Training and Professional Development: Develop and deliver regional trainings focused on best practices for inclusion, membership, and participation of students with low-incidence disabilities in the Least Restrictive Environment. 4. Statewide Service Delivery: Provide consultation services statewide to children ages 3-22 enrolled in Vermont schools requiring intensive special education services. 5. Compliance Requirements: Ensure compliance with SPP/APR Indicators as outlined by IDEA Data Center. Period of Performance The contract will be for a period of 24 months starting from July 1, 2026, with an option to renew for up to three additional twelve-month periods. Place of Performance Services will be performed statewide in Vermont. Bidder Requirements Bidders must demonstrate expertise in providing technical assistance, training, and consultation services related to special education. They must have licensed educators and related service providers available, as well as experience working within Vermont's educational system.
