Background The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for landscape and irrigation services. The agency's mission is to manage and conserve the state's natural resources, including wildlife habitats and parks. The goal of this contract is to enhance the landscape and irrigation systems within the agency's facilities, ensuring they are maintained to support ecological health and public enjoyment. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive landscape and irrigation services, which may include but are not limited to: - Installation of new landscaping features - Maintenance of existing landscapes - Irrigation system installation and repair - Soil preparation - Planting of trees, shrubs, and flowers - Lawn care including mowing and fertilization - Pest control measures - Seasonal clean-up activities. Specific requirements will be outlined in the bid documents provided by the Kansas Department of Administration. Period of Performance The contract period will commence upon award and continue through May 30, 2027. Place of Performance The services will be performed at various locations managed by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks across the state of Kansas. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state laws regarding immigration reform. They must provide a Tax Clearance Certificate as part of their bid submission. Additionally, bidders are required to certify that they are not engaged in a boycott of goods or services from Israel as per HB 2482 from the 2018 Legislative Session. All bidders must demonstrate their qualifications by providing references from similar projects completed within the last three years.
