Sealed bids for Longfellow Elementary School Fa ade Repairs shall be submitted electronically to bidsubmit@portlandmaine.gov with the name of the Bidder, Contract Name and Bid number in the subject line. Bids will be received until 2:30 p.m., May 13th, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read. Proposals may also be submitted via USPS, UPS, FedEx or hand delivered to the City of Portland, Purchasing Rm. 103, 389 Congress St., Portland ME 04101. It is the bidder's sole responsibility to ensure that their bid is submitted prior to the date and time specified. Late and/or faxed bids shall not be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on April 27th, 2026 at 3:00 PM at the main entrance of Longfellow Elementary School, 432 Stevens Ave, Portland, ME; which all prospective qualified bidders must attend in order to submit a bid. We will meet outside at Longfellow Elementary School. In the event of inclement weather, the City may postpone Pre-Bid Meetings, Pre-Proposal Conferences, or Bid/Proposal Openings. Every effort will be made to provide as much forewarning as possible regarding these decisions. Notification will be posted on the City of Portland Purchasing website.
