Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for invasive plant treatment services at Grand Teton National Park. The goal of the contract is to manage and control noxious weeds through backpack spraying methods, ensuring the preservation of natural resources within the park. Work Details The contractor will perform backpack spot treatments for invasive weeds in designated areas where motorized methods are prohibited. Key tasks include: (a) surveying assigned acreages for noxious weeds; (b) mixing and applying specified herbicides to target weeds; (c) completing and submitting daily herbicide treatment records provided by the government; and (d) collecting electronic data, including travel route logs during surveys and herbicide application. The contractor must furnish all necessary items including herbicides, equipment, labor, and supervision. Specific herbicides and application details will be outlined in individual orders/line items issued under this contract. Period of Performance The contract period is from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027, with options for two additional years extending through May 31, 2029.
