Background The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, is the largest municipality in the state with a mission to ensure a safe, secure, and prosperous environment for its residents. The Little Rock Zoo is seeking qualified vendors to provide monthly landscaping services to assist with landscape management across all zoo grounds. Work Details The vendor will be responsible for monthly landscaping services including: 1. Maintenance and control of grass, weeds, and other plants; 2. Managing, collecting, and disposing of fallen leaves and small limbs; 3. Maintaining a clean and appealing environment across the zoo grounds. Specific tasks include mowing to a height of three inches, edging along sidewalks and curbs, blowing debris from pathways, leaf removal from various areas, maintaining flower beds by pulling weeds and spreading mulch, and ensuring clippings do not enter storm drains. The work will be divided into three zones (Northern, Central, Southern) with specific areas outlined for maintenance. Compliance with ADA regulations and state licensing laws is required. Period of Performance The contract term will be for one year with the possibility of two additional one-year extensions upon mutual agreement.
