The Contractor shall procure and replace cooling and heating water coils for the AHU serving PMEL spaces in B457. The existing coils are broken due to damage from freezing. The existing AHU is a Daikin model CAH017GDCM (S/N FBOU210100282), with coils of model 5WL1106B-024, part# 619153312. The unit has 2 hot water coils (rated 211 MBH at 6690 cfm and 13.6 gpm) and two chilled water coils (rated 249 MBH at 6690 cfm and 59.4 gpm).
This solicitation is subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards RFO 52.222-41 and the current wage determination, Service Contract Act WD # 2015-5005, revision 27, revised 03 Dec 2025.

Background The contract is issued by the United States Air Force, specifically for the replacement of cooling and heating water coils for the Air Handling Unit (AHU) serving the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) spaces in Building 457. The existing coils have been damaged due to freezing, necessitating this procurement to ensure proper climate control within the facility. Work Details The Contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1. Visit the site before commencing work to verify existing conditions and space requirements in work areas. 2. Disconnect the cooling water (CW) and heating water (HW) piping and ancillary equipment as required for access from the AHU coil connection points, moving them out of the way for reinstallation after coil replacement. 3. Remove and replace the CW and HW coils with like-for-like coils in terms of capacity, performance, and fit/dimensions. 4. Reconnect the CW and HW piping and ancillary equipment post-replacement. 5. Conduct startup testing to demonstrate satisfactory installation and capability of the new coils and piping connections. 6. Adhere to all Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) requirements during work execution, with assistance from Government personnel for system operation as needed. 7. Provide at least a 1-year warranty on all labor and new materials used in the project. 8. Clean up and dispose of all removed equipment and project waste, including any trash generated during work, ensuring disposal complies with Offutt AFB Environmental Special Conditions.
