Tall Glass of Water – Phase II Construction Project

Bertie County is re-advertising a project to receive bids for the construction of 'Tall Glass of Water Phase II'. Qualified licensed Contractors are invited to submit sealed single prime, lump sum bids until the specified bid time and date. The bids must comply with the Instructions to Bidders issued by the Owner. The bid date is April 28, 2026, and the bid time is 10:00 AM local time. Bids should be delivered to Bertie County Government, Tonya Davis, Clerk to the Board, located at 106 Dundee Street, 2nd Floor, Windsor, NC 27983. The bid opening will occur at the same location in the Commissioners Room on the 1st Floor. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud thereafter. Bid security must be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount, and no bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. It is recommended that Prime Bidders visit the project site at 243 Bal Gra Road, Merry Hill, NC 27957, which is open to the public.
