Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing this contract for boundary line maintenance services along the Ozark Lake, Lake Dardanelle, and the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. The purpose of this maintenance is to ensure that the boundary is clearly defined and visible to the public, adjacent landowners, and government representatives. This contract is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Work Details The contractor shall perform maintenance on approximately 50 miles per year of boundary line between Ozark Lake and Dardanelle Lake, Fletcher Bend, Springhill Park, and Cherokee Park. The work includes: 1. Providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform boundary line maintenance as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). 2. Ensuring that the boundary line runs along diverse terrain including steep banks and flat agricultural lands. 3. Utilizing hip boots when required during line maintenance due to varying vegetation from open agricultural land to heavy underbrush areas. 4. Reporting missing USACE survey monuments and clearing brush from the boundary line. 5. Herbicide application on cut stumps and marking/blazing the property line. 6. Working uninterrupted along the line in two-mile increments from monument to monument as agreed with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). 7. Conducting a pre-work conference within five working days of contract award to discuss terms and performance requirements. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from the date of award until December 31, 2028 with specific work periods outlined for each year: Base Period from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026; Option Year One from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2027; Option Year Two from January 1, 2028 to December 31, 2028. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Ozark Lake and Dardanelle Lake within Franklin County, Logan County, Sebastian County, Conway County, Johnson County, Faulkner County in Arkansas.
