Background The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is issuing this solicitation for the reroofing of the administration building at the Silvio O. Conte National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) located in Brunswick, Vermont. The goal of this contract is to ensure the integrity and functionality of the building through necessary roofing improvements, which aligns with the agency's mission to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. Work Details The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to complete the reroofing of the administration building at Silvio O. Conte NWR. This includes but is not limited to: - Removal of existing roofing materials - Installation of new metal roofing as specified in Section 07510 - Compliance with all relevant specifications and drawings provided in attachments - Adherence to safety standards throughout the project - Coordination with FWS representatives during project execution. Period of Performance The contract performance period is from May 4, 2026, to December 2, 2026. The contractor must begin work within 10 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed and complete it within 212 calendar days. Place of Performance The construction work will be performed at the Silvio O. Conte National Wildlife Refuge located in Brunswick, Vermont.
