Background The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Montana – Yellowtail Power Plant, located in Fort Smith, Montana, is seeking contractors to supply two rotary screw air compressors. Work Details The contract requires the delivery of two (2) industrial grade air compressors with the following specifications: - Type: Single stage, oil-flooded rotary screw - Minimum capacity: 488 acfm at 110 psig - Full load operating pressure: 105 psig - Motor: 100 HP nominal, 460 Volt, 60 Hz, 3 phase, EISA energy efficient drive motor with a service factor of 1.25 - Duty rated for continuous operation (24/7/365) - Sound reducing enclosure with a maximum sound pressure level of 77 dBA - Integrated air-cooled aftercooler and oil cooler - Must fit within a footprint of 95” L x 50” W and height not exceeding 80” - Warranty: Initial 12 months plus five additional years for parts and labor on specified components; a 10-year parts warranty for the air end is also required. - Delivery must be completed no later than November 20, 2026.
