The Lee County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed written bids from qualified contractors for road resurfacing services for the following 12 roads in Lee County: Winifred Road from the Dougherty County Line to Cookville Road, Oakland Parkway from U.S. 82 to the Roundabout, Pinewood Road from the previous paving project (Deer Run) to U.S. 19, Mossy Dell Road from New York Road to S.R. 32., Graves Springs Road from S.R. 32 to Forrester Parkway, and all of the Canterbury Subdivision including the full length of Greyfriars Ln., Churchill Cir., Daughtry Ln., Ashwood Ct., Thimblemill Dr., Battersea Ct., and Ferrell Ct. Mossy Dell Road is to be widened by milling a minimum 12 into the existing edge of asphalt to redevelop the edge of pavement. Forrester Parkway will be restriped from State Route 133 to Philema Road. Other included items are high build traffic striping, rumble strips, stop bars, shoulder grading and other misc. items pertaining to the project.
