ITEM 1 RENOVATION: Alteration of approximately 2,415 SF of existing office and support spaces inside an existing, non-sprinklered one-story masonry building with a 997 SF mechanical mezzanine. Slab on grade will be demo'd to accommodate new plumbing layouts for the interior reconfiguration. Two overhead coil doors are to be removed and replaced with brick to match existing and windows. Selective demolition of partitions to accommodate new partition layout. Remove existing flooring and replace with new in half the building where renovations are taking place. New mechanical and electrical to replace existing systems. ITEM 2 ROOF REPLACEMENT on existing 4850 SF MAINTENANCE BLDG including new soffits, gutters, and siding trim.

Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the modernization of the Natchez Maintenance Facility located in Natchez, Mississippi. The goal of this contract is to renovate existing office and support spaces within a one-story masonry building, enhancing its functionality for the Historic Preservation Training Center (HPTC). This project aims to provide improved facilities for the Maintenance Action Team (MAT) and the NATC FM division. Work Details The scope of work includes: 1. Renovation of approximately 2,415 square feet of existing office and support spaces. This involves demolition of the slab on grade to accommodate new plumbing layouts, removal and replacement of two overhead coil doors with brick matching existing structures, selective demolition of partitions for new layouts, removal and replacement of flooring in half the building, and installation of new mechanical and electrical systems. 2. Roof replacement on an existing 4,850 square foot maintenance building which includes new soffits, gutters, and siding trim. Note that an abatement suite is excluded from this contract. Period of Performance The contract performance period is from June 1, 2026, to February 1, 2027. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at the Natchez National Historical Park located at 45 Melrose Montebello Parkway, Natchez, MS.
