This is a presolicitation notice issued in accordance with RFO 12.201 1(c)(2). Upon closure of this notice, the solicitation will be issued directly to vendors. The requirement is for the installation of a front forward assist for the CAT AA AP600 Paver currently in operation at Malmstrom Air Force Base, as outlined in the Statement of Work. This requirement is for a commercial product; therefore, in accordance with RFO 16.201(a), a fixed price contract type will be utilized. Specifically, a firm fixed price contract will be employed in accordance with RFO 16.202 2, as the appropriate fixed price contract vehicle for this acquisition. Specific requirements include: 1. Installation of all parts and equipment necessary to add Caterpillar part number 433-7563 ASSIST GP-FRONT WHEEL ALL-WHEEL DRIVE function. 2. All installed parts must be Caterpillar Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and installed by a certified Caterpillar technician. 3. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations as well as manufacturer’s specifications. Period of Performance The contractor shall deliver the required equipment ready for use Not Later Than (NLT) 1 August 2026. Place of Performance Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana.
