Background The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) Forensic Laboratory Biology Sections is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide Human Identification Instruments, Software, Maintenance Services, Reagents, and/or Laboratory Consumables. The goal of this contract is to enhance the capabilities of the KBI in forensic analysis and human identification. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing Human Identification Instruments, Software, Maintenance Services, Reagents, and Laboratory Consumables. Specific requirements include ensuring that all products and services meet or exceed the specifications outlined in the request for proposal. The contractor must also provide technical support and maintenance for the instruments supplied. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2031. Place of Performance The services and products will be delivered to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation located at 900 SW Jackson St., Topeka, KS 66612. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with various certifications including Tax Clearance Certificate and Immigration Reform and Control Act compliance. They must not be engaged in a boycott of goods or services from Israel. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a Technical Proposal that includes qualifications and experience in providing similar services.
