Background The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is authorized to provide disaster assistance under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act. This solicitation pertains to the New Mexico Joint Recovery Office (NMJRO), located at 1712 St. Michael’s Drive, Santa Fe, NM 87505, which is a facility of 94,829 square feet currently staffed by 100 to 250 personnel. The purpose of this contract is to provide janitorial services in support of FEMA's mission to assist survivors of the Hermits Peak and Calf Canyon Fires. Work Details The contractor shall furnish all personnel, labor, tools, equipment, materials, consumable items, and supervision necessary for janitorial services at NMJRO. Specific tasks include: - Daily (Twice a Day): Empty trash receptacles and replace liners; sweep floors; spot vacuum carpets; clean bathrooms and replenish supplies; clean breakroom areas; remove stains from carpets. - Daily (Once a Day): Mop/sanitize all bathroom floors. - Weekly (Once a week): Deep clean stains in carpets throughout the facility. The contractor must maintain an operational stock level of supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and batteries for dispensers. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a base period of three months with options for additional periods totaling up to eight months.
