Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a solicitation for Software Evolution Services (SES) for Philips Central Monitoring, Telemetry, and Patient Monitoring equipment located at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System (VASNHCS). The goal of this contract is to ensure that the equipment functions in accordance with FDA requirements and the latest published standards, while providing necessary software repairs and support services. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, parts, materials, travel, and shipping for Software Evolution Services on Philips equipment. Key tasks include: 1. Ensuring compliance with FDA requirements and NFPA 99 standards. 2. Providing Next-Day On-Site support as needed. 3. Supplying software, parts, labor, and travel except for consumables. 4. Performing Software Evolution Services to maintain Philips OEM Patient Monitoring System characteristics. 5. Providing a web-based application for inventory and statistical information regarding Philips devices. 6. Conducting Microsoft OS patching as necessary and coordinating with facility services. 7. Offering a mirrored testing environment for staff training prior to production use. 8. Delivering 24/7 customer support with access to subject matter experts during specified hours. 9. Providing unlimited online training courses for Facility Biomed personnel.
