Work Details The contractor will provide high-energy electro-hydraulic extra-corporeal shockwave medical equipment, consumables, and trained technicians to perform tendinopathy procedures for Veterans. The procedures can be unilateral or bilateral and include treatments for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, lateral epicondylitis, patellar tendonitis, tricep tendonitis, hip tendonitis, shoulder tendonitis, metatarsalgia, and fracture nonunion. The contractor must ensure that all equipment is sterilized and in good working condition per quality assurance standards. The medical device must be FDA-approved and utilize non-invasive technology to stimulate healing. Technicians provided by the contractor must be trained and certified to operate the equipment safely and effectively during procedures.
