Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing this solicitation for janitorial services at North Hartland Lake and Union Village Dam. The mission of the agency is to maintain and operate these facilities effectively while ensuring a clean and safe environment for employees and visitors. The goal of this contract is to furnish all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to perform cleaning services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment, materials, and labor necessary to clean the offices at North Hartland Lake and Union Village Dam. Specific tasks include: 1) Weekly office cleaning at North Hartland Lake (52 occurrences), which involves dusting surfaces, washing counters, cleaning restrooms, and mopping floors; 2) Carpet cleaning at North Hartland Lake three times a year (3 occurrences); 3) Biannual cleaning of windows and doors at North Hartland Lake (2 occurrences); 4) Weekly office cleaning at Union Village Dam (40 occurrences); 5) Carpet cleaning at Union Village Dam three times a year (3 occurrences); 6) Biannual cleaning of windows and doors at Union Village Dam (2 occurrences). All work must comply with the Performance Work Statement requirements. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract will be from the date of contract award through December 31, 2026. Work will be performed Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM unless otherwise approved. Place of Performance The services will be performed at two locations: North Hartland Lake Office located at 112 Clay Hill Road, North Hartland, Vermont 05052, and Union Village Dam Office located at 2 Main Street, East Thetford, Vermont 05043.
