Summary

This solicitation replaces the previously cancelled notice 1240BD26Q0003. Upon review of the market and initial offers, the Government has determined that HDPE modular structures are a technically acceptable and highly advantageous alternative to metal-frame construction. To ensure maximum practicable competition and provide all capable vendors including those whose previous offers did not meet the original metal-only specification an opportunity to bid on this revised requirement, the Government is re-soliciting this project. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. (ii) Description of Requirement: The USDA Forest Service, Colville National Forest, requires the removal and disposal of an existing swim dock and the furnishing and installation of a new replacement at Sullivan Lake Campground.

Technical Choice

Offerors must select and quote only ONE material option: - Option 1 (Metal Frame) or - Option 2 (HDPE Modular).

Evaluation: Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
