The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service, Colville National Forest (CNF), has a requirement for the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA). This is a firm-fixed-price, non-personal services contract for the removal and disposal of an existing swim dock and the furnishing and installation of a new replacement swim dock at the Sullivan Lake Campground in Metaline Falls, WA.
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform the following: - Removal & Disposal: Complete removal of the existing swim dock (currently on dry ground) and off-site disposal at a legal waste facility in accordance with Washington State regulations.
Furnishing, transporting, and anchoring a new swim dock designed for seasonal water level fluctuations and high-wind conditions.
- Dimensions: Minimum 15'x15' to Maximum 16'x16'. - Construction: Marine-grade aluminum or galvanized steel frame with encapsulated foam flotation. - Decking: Non-slip composite (light grey or cedar tone) with black dock edging.
4-to-5 step detachable swim ladder; flush coupling systems with rubber covers (if delivered in sections). - Anchoring: Flexible chain/fastener system for rocky/sand bottom (approx. 30ft depth) capable of withstanding peak wind events. - Lighting: Solar-powered LED lights on each corner. - Freeboard: 12 to 18 under dead load.
