Background The U.S. Army Garrison is seeking to procure Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) Preventive Maintenance Support at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The goal of this contract is to ensure the reliability and functionality of UPS systems critical for maintaining operational continuity in government facilities. This contract will not involve technical evaluations or the development of specifications, minimizing the risk of Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCIs). Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS systems located in buildings 1400 and 1401, including a Powerware 93pm 80kVA UPS and multiple APC Galaxy 5000 units. 2. Conduct full capacitor replacements for specified APC units. 3. Replace existing batteries in the Symmetra UPS system and ensure proper synchronization with the system. 4. Provide biannual preventive maintenance services according to manufacturer specifications, including documentation of work performed. 5. Troubleshoot and repair issues with UPS units, providing comprehensive diagnostics and corrective actions as necessary. 6. Conduct visual inspections of all components, checking for cleanliness and potential issues such as excessive heating or swelling in capacitors. 7. Measure input/output power levels and perform operational tests with customer approval. 8. Inspect internal components, calibrate signals, and check environmental conditions around equipment. Place of Performance The services will be performed at White Sands Missile Range, NM.
