This is a Firm Fixed Price, is a non-personal services requirement for on-site semi-annual inspection, testing and certification of fume hoods, biosafety cabinets (BSC), and testing of the clean/compounding rooms at Irwin Army Community Hospital and Environmental Services. The Contractor shall provide all necessary trained/OEM certified experienced personnel, labor, tools, specialized tools, diagnostic equipment, material, supplies, transportation, and travel costs required to perform the testing and certification of fume hoods, biological safety cabinets, grossing hood, compounding isolator. Contractor shall also provide testing, viable/non-viable surface and air sampling, particle counts and identification of any samples of microorganisms found. Background The Irwin Army Community Hospital is seeking a contractor to fulfill a non-personal services requirement for the semi-annual inspection, testing, and certification of fume hoods, biosafety cabinets (BSC), and clean/compounding rooms. This contract aims to ensure compliance with federal regulations regarding the safety and functionality of these critical facilities. Work Details The contractor shall provide all necessary trained/OEM certified experienced personnel, labor, tools, specialized tools, diagnostic equipment, material, supplies, transportation, and travel costs required to perform the following tasks: - On-site semi-annual inspection of fume hoods and biosafety cabinets. - Testing and certification of clean/compounding rooms. - Conducting viable/non-viable surface and air sampling. - Performing particle counts and identifying any microorganisms found in samples. The contractor is responsible for quality control and must inform the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) in writing of any issues that might affect performance within one week of identification.
