The baler has been experiencing operational deficiencies due to a lack of preventative maintenance, leading to increased wear and tear. These issues are hindering the branch's ability to efficiently compact and bale recyclable materials for sales and yard organization. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to restore the Aljon 400XL baler to full operational capability. The scope of work includes: 1. Conducting a site inspection prior to work commencement. 2. Performing diagnostics and removing broken or non-functioning parts while disposing of materials according to applicable regulations. 3. Completing all required preventive maintenance for the Aljon 400XL Logger Baler. 4. Conducting operational testing under normal load conditions for a minimum of two hours to ensure no malfunctions occur. Period of Performance The period of performance shall not exceed thirty (30) calendar days from the date of contract award unless otherwise authorized in writing.
