Background This solicitation is issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for a non-personal services contract aimed at providing refuse collection and removal at the Gavins Point Project located in Cedar County, Nebraska. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for supplying refuse bins and ensuring proper disposal of solid waste materials off Government property. The Government will not supervise or control the contractor's service providers, who will be accountable solely to the contractor. This is a fixed-price, performance-based service contract where desired outcomes are defined and measured by the Government, while contractor methods are not constrained or directed. The scope includes refuse collection from USACE-managed campgrounds, recreation areas, and operations areas. Period of Performance The contract will have a Base Year of 12 months starting from the date of award through March 31, 2027, followed by four option years: Option Year 1 from April 1, 2027 to March 31, 2028; Option Year 2 from April 1, 2028 to March 31, 2029; Option Year 3 from April 1, 2029 to March 31, 2030; and Option Year 4 from April 1, 2030 to March 31, 2031.
