Background The Air Mobility Command (AMC) Museum at Dover Air Force Base (AFB), Delaware, requires specialized services for collections support functions, artifact registration, restoration support, and basic conservation services. Specific tasks include: 1. Performing artifact registration services using best practices of relevant museum associations. 2. Maintaining temporary deposit registers for new acquisitions and permanent accession registers for accessioned artifacts. 3. Evaluating and accessioning between 150 to 250 items per year. 4. Creating and maintaining permanent artifact accession folders with required documentation. 5. Conducting quarterly updates on the collection and maintaining electronic databases for artifact tracking. 6. Evaluating artifacts quarterly for preservation needs and recommending actions as necessary. 7. Creating exhibit graphics and signage using existing software and equipment provided by the museum. 8.
