Background The U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Chief Information Office (CIO) is seeking to maintain critical IT Modernization Support Services during a GAO-level protest related to the award of a follow-on contract. The goal is to ensure continuity of services while the protest is resolved, with an anticipated award date for the follow-on contract projected for June 20, 2026. Work Details The services required under this contract include a 100-day bridge extension for IT Modernization Support Services, which encompass help-desk support, IT consulting support, training support, migration and modernization implementation, and on-site project support for both classified and unclassified systems. The contractor will provide overall IT support services necessary for effective operations and timely delivery of projects at ARL and its customer sites. These services are specialized due to the unique needs of ARL as a government research facility, requiring innovative solutions that are not commercially available. The existing scope of services will remain unchanged under this modification. Period of Performance The current contract's period of performance ends on March 10, 2026. The requested modification will extend this period by an additional 100 days. Place of Performance The work will be performed at various sites associated with the Army Research Laboratory.
