Summary (Newest Update)

Background The 110th Wing, Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, Michigan, is conducting preliminary market research to assess the availability of vendors capable of providing a counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS). This requirement is anticipated to result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of the Wing in mitigating drone threats. Work Details The contract requires an integrated, man-portable C-UAS solution that allows a single operator to detect, track, identify, and mitigate small Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), specifically Groups 1 and 2. The system must be capable of disrupting drone threats from both single drones and swarms across radio and GPS satellite frequencies. The specific requirements include: - Two (2) handheld drone gun systems. - An on-site training package for up to 10 members. - The system must be mobile and operable by one person while moving through rugged terrain without needing to stop for setup. - It should emit disruption or jamming signals in the electromagnetic-radio spectrum while also detecting and tracking UAS. - The system must be able to engage individual frequency bands for disruption to minimize collateral interference with friendly communications. - Capability to detect, track, identify, and mitigate both single drones and drone swarms is essential. - The solution must be vetted and approved for use with a 130i approved package. Place of Performance Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, Michigan.
