Background The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Healthcare Contracting Division-West (HCD-W) is seeking qualified sources to provide medical linen laundry services for the 355th Medical Group (355 MDG) located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB), Arizona. The goal of this contract is to ensure the provision of essential laundering services that support patient care programs and base veterinary services. Work Details The contractor shall provide comprehensive medical linen processing, laundering, delivery, and pickup services. This includes: 1. Providing all necessary equipment, materials, transportation, personnel, labor, supervision, and management for linen laundering services. 2. Ensuring timely deliveries of clean linens twice a week to the 355 MDG Military Treatment Facility (MTF). 3. Managing the off-site aspects of laundering services. 4. Delivering clean items in an enclosed truck that is sealed during transportation and ensuring they are bundled and wrapped in clear plastic wrap to prevent contamination. 5. Physically loading soiled linen from the dirty linen room into the contractor's vehicle and ensuring government personnel weigh the dirty linen upon pick-up. 6. Complying with infection control standards as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and meeting certification standards required by the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC). 7.
