USDA Forest Service Ninemile Ranger District Janitorial Services

Background

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is issuing this solicitation for janitorial services at the Ninemile Ranger District, located in Huson, MT. The USDA's mission includes ensuring the proper maintenance of government-owned facilities to provide a safe and healthy work environment. This contract aims to secure custodial/janitorial services for a base year with four additional option years, ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of various offices and facilities within the district.

Work Details

The contractor is required to provide all personnel, equipment, materials, facilities, supervision, management, and transportation necessary to fulfill the janitorial services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The scope includes: - Cleaning of the Main Office (2,800 sq ft), Timber Office (2,980 sq ft), Visitor Center (2,046 sq ft), and Fire Office (2,968 sq ft). - Basic cleaning services will occur once per week from September 15 to March 31 and twice per week from April 1 to September 14. - Services must be performed outside of federal holidays unless emergencies arise. - The contractor must ensure that all facilities are free from dirt and grime to maintain a pleasant work environment. Specific tasks include: - Regular cleaning of offices, hallways, bathrooms, and common areas. - Monthly and semiannual deep cleaning as specified in the PWS. - Adherence to security and training requirements as outlined in the contract.

Period of Performance

The contract will have a base year from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, with four option years extending through December 31, 2030.
