Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary for complete daily grounds maintenance services. Specific tasks include: - Maintaining existing irrigation systems; - Trimming and pruning trees, shrubs, groundcover, and vines; - Mowing, edging, aerating turf areas; - Fertilizing plant materials; - Replacing landscape materials as needed; - Providing weed, disease, and pest control (excluding commensal rodents); - Preparing and applying pest control materials; - Providing erosion control and pollution prevention; - Litter and debris removal; - Cleaning pedestrian structures and site furnishings; - Cleaning exterior lighting fixtures; - Cleaning roadways and parking lots; - Project supervision; - Coordinating activities with VA staff; - On-call snow removal services.
