Background The contract is issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the Santa Rosa Lake and Dam Project Office. The goal of this contract is to conduct routine inspections and cleanings of four potable water storage tanks to maintain compliance with New Mexico Drinking Water Regulations and to prevent potential water quality problems. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, management, equipment, supplies, and materials necessary for the inspection of four potable water storage tanks located near Santa Rosa Lake and Dam. The services include: 1. Conducting routine inspections and cleanings using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) while the tanks remain full and in-service. 2. Adjusting the water level to facilitate ROV deployment prior to inspections. 3. Performing exterior inspections focusing on safety placards, overflow systems, ventilation systems, exterior coatings, ladders, and intruder protection hatches. 4. Conducting interior inspections with an ROV to evaluate coating integrity, internal components, sediment build-up, and overall tank condition while adhering to OSHA regulations for confined spaces. 5. Providing high-resolution video documentation of inspections along with a comprehensive inspection report that includes findings and recommendations. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is 180 days from contract award. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Santa Rosa Dam Project, located within the Pecos River Basin approximately 7 miles north of Santa Rosa, NM in Guadalupe County.
