The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive uniform services to support the operations of the medical center over a five-year period through an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. Work Details The contractor shall provide full-service uniform rental services including: 1. Pick up soiled uniforms and drop off clean laundered uniforms twice per week, Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM ET, excluding federal holidays. 2. Provide samples of various uniform styles for measurement one week prior to fitting employees within two weeks of award. 3. Offer laundering services throughout the contract period with options for employees to have their uniforms washed and returned. 4. Make necessary size adjustments or provide new uniforms at no additional cost due to employee size changes. 5. Supply oversized and long sizes at no additional cost; petite and short sizes upon request. 6. Provide and install patches as requested by service lines, with all artwork pre-approved by WBVAMC. 7. Supply lockers for uniform storage and soiled garment bins for drop-off locations determined by service lines. 8. Ensure all uniforms are new and maintained in acceptable condition throughout the contract term, with repairs made as needed at no additional cost. 9. Invoices must be itemized per employee and submitted monthly; charges will cease for inactive employees due to illness or workman’s compensation.
