Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of a Sterile Drying Cabinet to support the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. The SPS is responsible for reprocessing approximately 16,000 instruments per fiscal quarter, and the goal of this contract is to enhance their instrument reprocessing capabilities. Work Details The contract includes the following items: 1. **Steris AMSCO Sterile Drying Cabinet Model #DCC201101** - Quantity: 1 each. This includes door swing restriction brackets, decommissioning and disposal of the current unit, and installation of the new unit. 2. **Door Swing Restricting Bracket for Cabinet** - Quantity: 4 each. 3. **Deinstallation of Current Drying Cabinet** - Quantity: 1 each. 4. **Installation of New Drying Cabinet** - Quantity: 1 each. All items must meet the specifications outlined in the solicitation.
