The Contractor must provide all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, and tools required to complete the renovation of B230 to be converted into a consolidated Flying Training Squadron (FTS) facility. Work includes replacing interior finishes, upgrading electrical fixtures, demolishing and erecting interior partition walls and doors, mechanical and plumbing work, among others. Perform all work according to this Statement of Work (SOW), the Concept Design Drawings, and all related AF requirements and other codes and references. This is a sources sought. Background Columbus AFB is one of three Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training (SUPT) bases and one of three bases to perform Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals (IFF) for prospective fighter pilots. B230 is currently utilized for classroom and briefing space by the 48th FTS. B230 will soon be utilized by the 49th & 50th FTS, after divestment of the T-1 Jayhawk in Spring 2026, in preparation for the upcoming T-7A Red Hawk mission. The consolidation of TFS into B230 is essential to the flying training mission supporting over 16,000 sorties per year as part of Columbus AFB SUPT and IFF syllabus. Work Details The Contractor must provide all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, and tools required to complete the renovation of B230 into a consolidated Flying Training Squadron (FTS) facility. Work includes: - Demolishing existing flooring and cove base; - Repairing floor and wall surfaces; - Furnishing and installing new LVT plank flooring; - Installing new carpet flooring; - Applying concrete solid stain and non-slip epoxy; - Installing new vinyl wall base; - Demolishing existing suspended ceiling grid system and tiles; - Furnishing and installing new suspended ceiling grid system and ceiling tiles; - Repairing existing interior walls; - Painting new and existing interior walls.
