Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 21 is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Contract Emergency Residential Services (CERS) for the San Francisco Veteran Affairs Health Care System (SFVAHCS). The HCHV program aims to reduce homelessness among veterans by offering outreach and supportive services, facilitating their transition to permanent housing. This initiative is part of the Veterans Health Administration's mission to provide essential care and support to homeless veterans. Work Details The contractor will provide community-based, short-term residential services as part of the HCHV CERS program. These services must include sufficient supportive programming aimed at stabilizing veterans in the community and assisting them in transitioning to permanent housing. The residential programming should preferably be located in the Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco.
