Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 09, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract for the upgrade of the Physical Access Control System (PACS) to Cynergy Professional Systems, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. This contract is a logical follow-on to an existing order and aims to ensure compliance with VA Policy 0730 requirements for door entry controls. The anticipated award date is no later than March 30, 2026. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for upgrading the existing PACS system, which includes: - Providing hardware, software, and firmware upgrades. - Additional programming and support services. - Installation of ISTAR Panels with licensing costs and power controls. - Comprehensive programming and testing of the upgraded system. All work is to be performed by Cynergy/JCI at both Nashville and Murfreesboro Medical Centers, maintaining continuity with past contracts regarding the PACS system.
