Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. 436TH Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of small business concern contractors capable of providing the following services: Description of Services - The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that kitchen hoods, ducts and dryer ventilation duct cleaning services are performed at Dover AFB in a manner that will conform to all local, state and federal regulations Please see the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a more in-depth overview of the required services. Background The 436th Contracting Squadron is seeking information regarding the availability of small business contractors capable of providing kitchen hoods and ducts cleaning services at Dover Air Force Base (AFB). The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining fire safety standards. Work Details The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary for the cleaning of kitchen hoods, ducts, and dryer ventilation systems. Specific tasks include: 1. Thoroughly cleaning all kitchen exhaust hoods (interior/exterior), ductwork, electrical fans, fan blades, fan housing and supports, splash backs and louvers, deflectors and dampers, grease filters and filter racks, roof vents, and any other equipment in the air stream of each kitchen exhaust system to remove accumulated grease, dust, dirt, and lint down to bare metal. 2. Utilizing containment methods to capture water run-off from cleaning operations directed into drainage systems connected to an oil separator/grease trap. 3. Disassembling and reassembling kitchen exhaust systems as necessary for cleaning. 4. Notifying the Fire Department prior to completion of work in any building for inspection purposes as per NFPA Code 96. 5. Attaching a label indicating the date cleaned and next scheduled cleaning after inspection approval by the Fire Department. 6. Cleaning up work areas post-cleaning including polishing hoods streaklessly and disposing of debris according to EPA regulations. Place of Performance The services will be performed at Dover Air Force Base.
