Background The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, GA, is seeking to procure the ZEISS FORUM ophthalmic data management/connectivity system. This system aims to consolidate diagnostic imaging and examination data across various ophthalmology modalities into a centralized archive and clinical viewer. The goal is to improve workflow efficiency, enable paperless data transfer, support multi-site data consistency, and provide advanced clinical review tools for enhanced decision-making in Veteran care. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for procuring, installing, configuring, and validating the ZEISS FORUM system. Key tasks include: - Delivery of products including an Image and Data Management System that is FDA 510k approved. - The system must provide post-processing analysis and dynamic review/manipulation of RAW data for ZEISS Cirrus HD-OCT. - It should store and access raw instrument data from various ZEISS devices including Field Analyzer and Visucam Fundus Camera. - Enable real-time editing/manipulation of Visual Field Test data for glaucoma patients. - Support DICOM standards for patient demographics transfer within the clinic's network. - Provide combined reports for structure-function analyses from different devices on a single display. - Ensure bi-directional DICOM capabilities for sending modality worklists and receiving diagnostic test results. - Connect with non-DICOM diagnostic instruments and convert results into DICOM compatible files. - Display images in pre-formatted clinical groupings for various cases.
