GSA Fleet Lease Vehicle Auction & Marshalling Services - Helena, MT

Background

The General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Fleet Management (GSA Fleet) is seeking contractor support for vehicle auction and marshalling services for Government vehicles. GSA Fleet provides a full-service fleet management program, maintaining a diverse fleet of over 227,000 vehicles including light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles. The agency aims to modernize its public vehicle sales model and increase net proceeds from vehicle sales, particularly in light of the growing number of electric vehicles in the Federal fleet.

Work Details

The contractor will perform tasks related to both auction and marshalling services, which include: advising on optimal disposition strategies for exchange/sale-eligible vehicles; conducting full vehicle inspections and condition reporting; providing recommendations on repairs and pricing; creating marketing plans for vehicle sales; managing electronic inventory; supporting bidder/buyer management; ensuring customer service throughout the sales process; facilitating payment collection; transporting vehicles; preparing vehicles for sale including reconditioning and maintenance; managing logistics for vehicle transportation; and ensuring security and storage of vehicles. For marshalling only services, tasks include inspecting vehicles upon delivery, performing pre-delivery inspections, providing driver education, managing scheduled appointments, and ensuring proper disposal of old plates.
