This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 127EAV26Q0031 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Location of project: Reserve Ranger District, Gila National Forest located in New Mexico has a requirement for Janitorial Services. The applicable NAICS is 561720 Janitorial Services, for which the small business size standard in millions of dollars is $22.0 (PSC: S201). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2025-06 dated 10 October 2025. The result of this requirement will be a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) contract. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. Background The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service (USDA-FS) is issuing this solicitation for janitorial services at the Reserve Ranger District, Gila National Forest in New Mexico. The contract aims to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in approximately 9,000 square feet of office space and related outdoor facilities, supporting the agency's mission to manage national forests and grasslands sustainably. Work Details The contractor will provide janitorial services five days a week, including: - Cleaning sinks, countertops, mirrors, toilets, and shower stalls; - Replenishing soap and paper products; - Vacuuming carpets; - Sweeping and mopping floors; - Dusting furniture and surfaces; - Cleaning glass doors; - Emptying trash cans; - Disinfecting high-touch areas; - Cleaning water fountains; - Removing scuff marks; - Maintaining outdoor walkways; - Washing windows twice a year; and - Ensuring the janitor closet is organized. The contractor must also ensure that all work is performed during specified hours: Monday to Friday from 1730-2100 from October to April, and Sunday to Friday from 1730-2100 from May to September. Cleaning is not required on federal holidays. Period of Performance The contract has a base year starting from March 23, 2026, to March 22, 2027, with four option years extending through March 22, 2031.
