HLCNF - Park Lake Dam Rehabilitation - Special Notice FALL 2025 Site Inspection/Visit Project Summary: The USDA Forest Service plans to issue a solicitation for the Park Lake Dam Rehabilitation project on the Helena Lewis & Clark National Forest. Work includes but is not limited to; clearing and grubbing, dewatering of Park Lake, deconstruction of the existing dam, construction of a new dam, new seismic foundation, hydraulic seepage control, road reconstruction, reclamation, and all other work associated with dam rehabilitation and construction. Performance of work shall take place over two field seasons and be completed by 10/31/2027. This is not a solicitation and in no way commits the Government to award a contract. The Government does not intend to award a contract(s) based solely on this site visit nor does it intend to pay for any costs incurred in response to this announcement. The intent of this notice is to ensure that prospective vendors may see the areas prior to heavy snowfall and issuing the solicitation. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be issued on or before January of 2026 with implementation following the award of a contract. Site Visit Information: No formal site visit planned at this time. Potential bidders are encouraged to inspect and visit the project site before submitting bids.
